TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 1504) has once again been recognized by HR Asia, a leading international publication for human resources professionals, receiving the Best Companies To Work For In Asia Awards for the second consecutive year. TECO
stood out among 330 participating companies in Taiwan this year, becoming one of only 97 companies to receive the honor. The Company also won three additional category awards—the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards, People Transformation Awards, and Sustainable
Workplace Awards—demonstrating its outstanding achievements in corporate culture, talent development, and sustainable management.
Winning three category awards this year reflects TECO’s continued efforts to build a comprehensive and sustainable talent ecosystem across three key areas: workplace sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and talent development.
In workplace sustainability, TECO continues to integrate ESG principles into corporate governance and employee engagement. Through initiatives such as volunteer leave and a volunteer points program, the Company encourages employees to participate in community
service. In 2025, a total of 211 employee participations were recorded across volunteer activities including beach cleanups, community meals with senior citizens, restoration of the Tefuye Historic Trail, visits to children’s homes, and hands-on farming experiences.
These ongoing efforts have earned TECO the Sustainable Workplace Awards once again this year, underscoring the Company’s commitment to creating a healthy, safe, and resilient workplace.
In diversity and inclusion, TECO has long been committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that respects differences and promotes equal participation. In addition to establishing gender-inclusive restrooms and a women’s employee network, TECO has incorporated
DEI courses into its company-wide training program since 2023, achieving an annual completion rate of more than 85%. By advancing both institutional practices and an inclusive corporate culture, TECO continues to deepen DEI throughout the organization. This
year, the Company received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Awards for the first time, recognizing the progress it has made in embedding DEI into its workplace culture.
Talent development is another key foundation of TECO’s efforts to strengthen organizational competitiveness. Through a comprehensive talent development framework and diverse learning resources, the Company encourages employees to enhance their professional
expertise and cross-disciplinary capabilities. By the end of 2025, TECO had cultivated more than 171 digital seed talents to facilitate cross-functional knowledge sharing and innovative applications. Through its Mercury Program, a Management Associate (MA)
development program, together with its internal instructor system and management training programs at various levels, TECO has also developed 173 key management talents.
Members of the inaugural Mercury Program cohort have already taken on core responsibilities in overseas market expansion, post-merger integration, and regional operations management. They have also participated in major international projects in the Middle
East, Southeast Asia, and other markets, extending talent development into real-world global operations. The People Transformation Awards recognizes TECO’s long-term investment in talent development and the establishment of diverse talent pipelines, further
strengthening the capabilities needed to support the organization’s long-term growth.
TECO Electric & Machinery stated that talent is a vital foundation for sustained corporate innovation and growth. Receiving the Best Companies To Work For In Asia Awards for the second consecutive year, together with the Sustainable Workplace Awards, Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion Awards, and People Transformation Awards, not only affirms TECO’s talent management practices and workplace culture, but also reflects the Company’s long-term commitment to talent development, diversity and inclusion, and sustainable
management.
As industries undergo rapid transformation and competition intensifies in global markets, TECO will continue to foster an open, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace where employees and the organization can thrive together, building stronger capabilities
and competitiveness for the Company’s next stage of growth.
This year marks TECO’s 70th anniversary. Guided by its longstanding commitment to professionalism and innovation, the Company will continue to strengthen its corporate culture under the “One TECO” vision while investing in talent development, diversity and
inclusion, and sustainable development. By leveraging technology and accelerating digital transformation, TECO aims to build a more agile, innovative, and competitive organizational culture, realize its vision of shared success for both the Company and its
people, and steadily advance toward becoming a world-class employer of excellence.
