TECO Showcases “Low-Carbon Sustainable Energy Service” for a Sustainable Future
At the 2025 Net-Zero Taiwan Expo held today (29th), TECO presented its
exhibition under the theme of “Low-Carbon Sustainable Energy Service (TECO Energy
Service)”, underscoring its firm commitment to transforming from an equipment
manufacturer into an integrated energy service provider. TECO also unveiled its
latest ESCO energy services and comprehensive solutions to help enterprises
achieve energy conservation, carbon reduction, and operational resilience — all
in one integrated process.
TECO stated that in recent years, the company has successfully completed
numerous domestic and international energy-saving projects, achieving an
average energy-saving rate of 30–40% across a wide range of sectors including
department stores, healthcare institutions, manufacturing, and office
buildings. In 2025, TECO officially established its TECO Energy Service
Division, integrating its core technologies in power systems, intelligent
variable-frequency control, HVAC systems, energy storage, and renewable energy.
Under the three pillars of “Smart Energy Efficiency × Resilient Energy ×
Green Finance,” TECO offers end-to-end services—from energy and carbon
inventory, improvement planning and design, engineering execution, measurement
and verification, to green financing—creating a new sustainable energy
ecosystem.
Vice President Scott Chen emphasized that smart energy conservation and
decarbonization are long-term strategic directions for TECO. Through
technological integration and green finance collaboration, TECO not only
alleviates financial pressure for businesses but also empowers small and
medium-sized ESCO operators to accelerate project implementation and promote
deeper energy-saving practices.
Smart Power Systems: Achieving Over
40% Energy Savings
The
exhibition highlights AI-driven and optimization-based control solutions,
featuring smart energy efficiency, AI full-range temperature control, virtual
power plants, and energy management systems (EMS) as key components of TECO’s
energy service portfolio.
In the
intelligent power system segment, TECO enhances transmission efficiency
combined with intelligent variable-frequency control, enabling equipment to
automatically adjust load operations. This achieves average energy savings
exceeding 40%, offering high reliability and low noise—ideal for
energy-intensive industries such as steel, petrochemical, paper, cement, and
electronics, with multiple proven success cases already in operation.
Cooling Tower Breakthroughs and AI
Deep Temperature Control
TECO’s high-efficiency,
low-speed direct-drive cooling tower system, integrated
with intelligent variable-frequency control, delivers overall
energy savings above 40%. The system has been
implemented in semiconductor facilities, hospitals, and transportation hubs,
featuring reliability, low noise, and minimal maintenance—making it an ideal
solution for energy retrofit projects and noise-sensitive environments.
Additionally,
the AI
full-range temperature control system combines
artificial intelligence with energy-saving technologies to deliver precise
temperature regulation from –18°C to 27°C. By employing AI algorithms
to optimize equipment performance, it achieves an estimated
average energy savings of 43% and can integrate with
central HVAC systems for enhanced efficiency. This solution is applicable to
factories, data centers, convenience stores, hospitals, and more.
AI-CNm and EMS
TECO’s ESCO
energy technology services also include AI high-tech greenhouse gas inventory
solution (AI-CNm), enabling enterprises to quickly generate accurate greenhouse
gas inventories, identify carbon hotspots, monitor electricity usage, and track
emission reduction progress.
This solution
has been adopted by CDRI (Under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA),
supporting the creation of a “Carbon Health Check Management Platform” for
25,000 SMEs.Within TECO’s one-stop ESCO service, enterprises can also establish
Energy Management Systems (EMS) that integrate solar power, energy storage,
hydrogen fuel cells, and electrical equipment. The system interconnects various
assets to effectively reduce electricity costs, enhance power resilience, and
create a low-carbon, stable, and efficient energy environment.
One-Stop ESCO Solutions: Accelerating the
Path to Sustainability
Through its
one-stop ESCO solution, TECO acts as a strategic partner in enterprise
sustainability transformation, offering customized services and collaborating
across the industrial chain to expand Taiwan’s deep energy-saving market. By
integrating green finance—linking government subsidies and banking
resources—TECO helps reduce upfront capital pressure through shared savings and
financing models.
TECO’s
comprehensive ESCO solutions serve a wide range of sectors—including factories,
offices, department stores, hospitals, campuses, and public infrastructure—advancing
Taiwan’s energy transition toward a more sustainable and resilient future.
