TECO Receives the “ESCO Outstanding Enterprise Award" Showcasing Long-Term Commitment to Energy Savings
TECO Electric & Machinery has been honored with the “ESCO Outstanding Enterprise Award,” recognizing the company’s long-term commitment and outstanding performance in the field of Energy Service Companies (ESCO). The award evaluates recipients across technical expertise, operational performance, innovation, sustainability, and future development planning, affirming TECO’s capabilities in deep energy savings, system integration, and project execution. This recognition highlights the growing importance of energy service solutions in driving industrial energy transformation.
The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Chun-Li Lee, Director-General of the Energy Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, along with chairpersons of ESCO associations and representatives from government, industry, and academia, reflecting the strong national focus on advancing energy efficiency and energy service development.
Mr. Scott Chen, Vice President of TECO Group, noted that effective deep energy savings require the integration of energy diagnostics, carbon inventory, energy-saving system planning, operational optimization, and measurement and verification (M&V) mechanisms to ensure measurable and sustainable results. With extensive resources and practical experience across diverse applications, TECO continues to advance energy efficiency initiatives from individual improvements to system-level and site-wide optimization.
Looking ahead to the 2050 net-zero emissions goal, TECO will continue to strengthen its ESCO capabilities by integrating equipment, systems, and services, working closely with industry partners to deliver practical and sustainable energy-saving outcomes.
