TECO Sponsors Formula Student Taiwan for 2nd Straight Year

For the second year in a row, TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. has sponsored "Formula Student Taiwan 2023," the third edition of the event meant to cultivate local car-making talent and foster the development of Taiwanese auto industry.

In his opening remark, Fan Hsin, TECO president, pointed out that TECO has made major inroads into e-vehicle, now providing powertrain to e-bus and 3.5-ton e-trucks, a product with multiple honors including golden award of Taiwan Excellent Awards and DMIT (Design and Made in Taiwan) certification. TECO will continue intensifying R&D on green energy, in order to contribute to the attainment of the UN net zero-carbon emission goal.

As a key sponsor, TECO installed a booth at the venue of the event, manifesting the development trend of new-energy auto components, so that visitors can observe closely TECO's e-vehicle powertrain, which consists of high-power motor and gearbox. In-person demonstration is available, in order to acquaint students with latest development of Taiwan's e-vehicle industry and inspire their interest, thereby soliciting potential talents to join the TECO team.
