storage, and retail display, TECO offers an integrated HVAC&R solution
ranging from -18°C to 27°C. This comprehensive system enhances food safety,
preserves flavor, extends shelf life, and reduces food waste, creating a
reliable “farm-to-table” experience.
TECO notes that its solutions are
delivered through a one-stop service model, covering planning, design, construction,
testing, and commissioning — reducing communication and integration costs for
clients. With AI-powered precise temperature control and uniform airflow
design, the system ensures optimal food preservation at every stage. The cold
chain solutions have already been adopted by prominent clients such as An-Shin
Food (Pingtung Agricultural Biotechnology Park), I-Mei Foods, Madou Farmers’
Association, and Uni-President Food Era in Kaohsiung.
TECO’s energy-saving
technologies can help businesses reduce energy consumption by 5%–8%, and with
simultaneous upgrades to high-efficiency equipment, the total savings can reach
up to 42% (30% from equipment efficiency, 6% from system improvements, and 6%
from peripheral enhancements), resulting in up to 30% reduction in operational
costs. Additionally, TECO offers smart system recommendations, ESG-aligned
strategies, and energy efficiency diagnostics, making it the ideal partner for
agricultural and fishery producers, food processors, and retailers pursuing
intelligent transformation.
Moreover, TECO
highlights that when its HVAC and cold chain systems are integrated for store
applications, the use of R407H low-GWP refrigerants and intelligent control
software can achieve energy savings of up to 30%. In 27°C temperature-controlled
environments, pairing with TECO’s high-efficiency four-pipe integrated system
allows for heat recovery and reuse, with COP (coefficient of performance)
reaching up to 13 — significantly enhancing carbon reduction outcomes for
clients.

Motors Power Low-Carbon Food Manufacturing
At the show, TECO is
also introducing its new IE5 synchronous reluctance motor, which contains no
rare-earth magnets and offers low temperature rise and reduced maintenance — an
ideal energy-saving solution for food manufacturers. The exhibit also features
a variety of high-efficiency motor solutions specifically designed for the food
processing industry, including high-cooling permanent magnet motors suitable
for heavy-duty mixing equipment, offering high strength and stable operation.
Stainless steel motors paired with gear reducers are suitable for a wide range
of conveyor systems, offering corrosion resistance, temperature tolerance, and
precision control. TECO is also sharing updates on government subsidy programs:
for every kilowatt of IE4 ultra-high-efficiency motors under 100HP, companies
can apply for subsidies of up to NT$840 — helping to lower investment barriers
and accelerate the industry’s low-carbon transition.
