TECO Wins HR Asia 2025 “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” and “Sustainable Workplace Award”
TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. (TECO, TWSE: 1504), a globally recognized electronics and machinery enterprise with a presence in nearly 40 countries, has earned international recognition by securing two prestigious honors at the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025” awards, hosted by the authoritative human resources publication HR Asia.
In its first-ever participation, TECO was selected from 360 companies in Taiwan’s award group to receive the main accolade. The company also received the ‘’Sustainable Workplace Award’’, a special category distinction granted to only 27 Taiwanese companies this year—underscoring TECO’s strong commitment to ESG principles and workplace sustainability.
TECO Chairman Mr. Morris Li stated, “TECO is not only committed to innovation but also to driving progress. We firmly believe that talent is our most enduring competitive advantage, and we are dedicated to creating a modern workplace that fosters cohesion, agility, and sustainability—where every innovation becomes an opportunity for employees and the organization to grow together, ready to embrace global changes and challenges.”
According to HR Asia, the evaluation spans 15 economies and combines enterprise submissions with confidential employee surveys to assess organizational culture, employee engagement, and team cohesion through Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM). TECO exceeded the average performance on multiple dimensions—particularly in employee wellbeing, sustainability efforts, diversity and inclusion, talent development, and communication mechanisms—earning high praise from the panel of judges.
One TECO: Driving Sustainable and Inclusive Growth
Since assuming the role in 2024, Chairman Mr. Morris Li has championed four core values: Client-Centricity, Growth Mindset, Open Dialogue, and Co-Creation as guiding principles for TECO’s culture and operations. Embodying the ‘’One TECO’’ spirit, the company has strengthened cross-departmental collaboration, enhanced integration across its global network, and embedded these values into daily practices, building an efficient and modern organizational framework.
This cultural transformation aligns with TECO’s vision of becoming a global driver of electrification, intelligence, and green energy. The company has been listed for five consecutive years in both the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices and the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook.
Looking ahead, TECO will continue to advance inclusive and sustainable workplace practices, uphold its corporate social responsibilities, and serve as a benchmark for organizations where both people and business thrive together.
