TECO Granted Taiwan Excellent Awards for 11 Items
TECO Electric & Machinery has staged a stellar performance in the 29th Taiwan Excellence Awards, receiving the acknowledgment of the honor for 11 products, the highest in the electromechanical manufacturing category.
Following the honor of silver award for the company's meal-delivery robot last year, its electric-car powertrain hit the finalist list for both golden and silver awards this year, underscoring its achievement in the cutting-edge technology sector.
TECO's award-winning items boast a wide range, including AGV (automated guided vehicle)-related products and systems, such as smart dish-collection robot, UVC-based anti-pandemic robot, and railless multiple AGV dispatch and management system.
Other items include water-cooling permanent-magnet synchronous variable-frequency water chiller, smart energy-conserving, IoT-connected commercial air-cooling variable-frequency packaged air conditioner, smart-monitoring ultra-high power-density, low-voltage motor, IoT-connected multi-function vector inverter, smart-monitoring variable-frequency permanent-magnet motor, automatic synchronous reluctance motor, and MP500 machine-tool waterwheel system. All of these items are self-developed and have hit the market.
Dubbed as the Oscars of Taiwan's industrial sector, Taiwan Excellent Awards is an annual event, organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). On the heels of its extraordinary performance in the past, TECO will continue to develop innovative products, under the auspices of the corporate vision of "energy conservation, emission reduction, intelligence, and automation," highlighting the excellent value of Taiwan-made products.
