TECO Exhibits Smart Power System at Smart Energy Week Exhibition
TECO Electric and Machinery Co., will display three major items, “energy storage system and energy management system,” “green power trading and sale management,” “and “smart PV power management system,” during “Energy Taiwan” 2024.
Thomas Fann, TECO president, notes that Given the surging demand for green power worldwide for attaining net zero emission, TECO is sparing no effort in developing power sale management system, on top of the monitoring and management technology for renewable energy generation and energy storage system, so as to help enterprises review power sale revenue effectively and attain the power generation and sale target, thereby marching toward the goal of net zero emission in a transparent, high-performance manner.
As a leader of wind-power substation turn-key engineering and energy storage system of Taipower in Taiwan, TECO highlights its strength in “energy management system” via the exhibits, including PV power smart energy system, energy management system, and power sale energy system. Fan Hin points out that surging supply and demand of renewable energy has posed a major challenge for grid resilience. Energy management system can effectively boost energy utilization efficiency. At the exhibition venue, TECO also demonstrates its track record in real-time monitoring and optimization of PV power plant and energy storage system. TECO’s energy management system, for instance, can transfer PV power generated in daytime for use in the evening, thereby balancing supply and demand.
Energy storage system offers integrated service
TECO reports that business energy storage facilities and energy storage system maintenance platform can help business cut demand for public electricity and has an actively alert system, thereby boosting safety and operational efficiency. In addition, the system is capable of controlling the timing, mode, and parameters of different energy storage application programs and can be connected with third-party communications software via external ports, thereby offering customers one-stop service.
Smart PV power management system enables high-performance operation
TECO’s PV power management system can support multi-station operation, enabling firm grip of power output constantly. Via setting of parameters, the monitoring system can identify abnormality and issue alert for various units to take emergent responses. In addition, automated manpower dispatch system can issue maintenance orders and produce regular maintenance and repair report, cutting manpower. It can combine with the database of monitoring system, offering visualized and interactive tables to assets management personnel, thereby optimizing operation performance.
Outlook of green power trading
With the aim of engaging in green power trading, the smart power sale system features one-stop management for power plant’s power sale and monitor power output real time, to assure attainment of revenue target, offering precision and high-performance service for upcoming green power market.
