TECO Ranks Among Top 5% in Corporate Governance Evaluation for Eighth Straight Year
For the eighth year in a row, TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. has ranked among top 5% in corporate governance evaluation by Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), which covers 913 listed companies, a feat attained by only nine companies.

Chiu, chairman, points out that in line with its sustainable management
concept, the company will continue improving its corporate governance, thereby
forging a sustainable working environment for employees, offering customers
high value-added services, and optimizing shareholders' interests. For that
purpose, the company set up an ESG office in 2021, a cross-division unit
overseen by an dedicated sustainability specialist, coordinating the efforts of
various divisions, tracking progress in sustainability, and reporting execution
status to the chairman regularly. In addition, TECO has established a
stakeholders' section on its website, try to understand stakeholders' needs via
questionnaire and other means, address major CSR issues, and report
communications results to the board of directors periodically, plus disclosure
in annual report and on corporate website.
TECO's remarkable achievements in corporate governance and sustainable development has won it multiple honors, such as inclusion of the company as a constituent stock of DJSI-Emergent Markets for two consecutive years, coverage of S&P Sustainability Yearbook, platinum award of Taiwan Top 50 CSR reports for seven years in a row, and Climate Leadership Award.
