As the current president, Thomas Fann, will complete his three-year tenure
on April 6, 2025. Kao Fei-Yuan, the current president of the Green Mechatronic
Solution Business Group, will take over as the new president, effective April

TECO Chairman Morris Li expressed gratitude to president Fann for his
contributions over the past three years, particularly in advancing energy
storage, green energy, and electrification, achieving remarkable results.
Incoming president Kao, 58, holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
from National Central University. He joined TECO in 1994 in the motor
production unit and later served as the plant manager of TECO Wuxi’s high-voltage
motor factory in China in 2012, successfully implementing a Manufacturing
Execution System (MES). In 2015, he returned to Taiwan as Assistant Vice
President of the green-energy electric machinery production and research
division while concurrently serving as GM of TECO Wuxi Precision Machinery. He

an automated high-efficiency electrical production line in Zhongli. In 2020, he
spearheaded the development of a high-performance next-generation electric
vehicle powertrain system, winning the Taiwan Excellence Gold Award. Following
TECO’s restructuring into three business groups in 2021, Kao was appointed as
the head of the Green Mechatronic Solution Business Group, leading efforts in
energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and electrification. Under his leadership,
TECO successfully expanded its global production network, establishing
high-efficiency motor plants in Vietnam and Mexico in response to international
regional economic trends and supply chain localization.
