TECO and Walsin Lihwa Inks Cooperation MOU

Chiu, chairman of TECO Electric & Machinery, and Yu-Lon Chiao, chairman of
Walsin Lihwa Corp., signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on Nov. 30, paving the way for the two parties to combine their respective advantages for
engagement in strategic cooperation and
deployment, with the aim of achieving mutual benefits and prosperity.
The
two parties have immediately set up an ad hoc committee overseeing the
strategic cooperation, headed by the two companies' chairmen and presidents,
which consists of three sections, namely smart manufacturing, green-energy
storage, and smart grid.
The
alliance also covers the two companies' core businesses, especially in the
aspects of procurement and overseas marketing.
