TECO Passes IP Management Certification
TECO
Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. passed TIPS (Taiwan Intellectual Property
Management System) certification on Dec. 30, 2021, affirming the quality of its
IP management scheme, in terms of IP acquisition, protection, and upholding.
The
certification, at A grade, results from the company's years-long effort in IP
management, as embodied by its IP management plan, which, as part of its annual
business plan, calls for regular report on its execution to the board of
directors, as well as the regulator, general public, and stakeholders, via
disclosure on website and in annual report. In order to effectively implement
the IP management system, the company has adopted a number of measures,
including formulation of criteria for patent and trademark upholding and
evaluation, IP-risk prevention measures in procurements, and education and
training.
TECO
points out that to cope with rapid changes in technology and industry, it will
mobilize all the employees to engage in IP upholding and management, so as to enhance
corporate competitiveness.
