The establishment of Teco Group Research Institute (TGRI) confirms the Group’s determination to sustain both growth and profitability via continuous investments in long-term technology development and short-term product feature enhancement. TGRI currently comprises of five teams of talented R&D people committed to develop advanced technologies and products fulfilling future needs of both industrial and individual customers across various business sectors, and acts as a technology platform within the Teco Group to facilitate knowledge-sharing among researchers and developers, exploitation of synergic opportunities among business units, and effective leverages. Being the Group-level research arm, we appreciate the enthusiasm to create and respect the freedom to make a difference. We value interdisciplinary talents as well as integrity and strive for technological and managerial excellence while teamwork is strongly emphasized. Main research topics at TGRI in the coming year include advanced display technologies, information appliances and efficiency performance improvements for industrial appliances. Research projects are initiated with clear strategic intents and all research results lead to measurable operational or market benefits and contribute to the overall success of the Teco Group.
